Common Syndromes seen in the Elderly |
Purpose: This course focuses on common syndromes seen in geriatric patients with special attention to the nursing home and the nurse’s
role in the management of these conditions, with consideration given to race and culture. It provides an overview of delirium, falls, medication management and weight loss.

the nursing home resident who presents with weight loss.
